We're
not movie stars, supermodels or athletes.
We don't hold enviable spots in the power ladder of the country. We are
normal people with shitty jobs and so far, the amount of days spent doing
shitty things, working in shitty places and caring for shitty non-issues
forced down our throats by the state, society and general consensus is
far bigger than the time spent sipping fancy drinks on paradise settings.
Maybe it'll change in the future – maybe it won't. But the
big thing is, we know where we stand.
We don't get deluded or
distracted by sitcoms, major sports events, celebrities and the false
conception that someday, grinding all those hours working for a boss we
hate will actually pay off and buy us happiness and fulfillment. We
know that time is flying by. We don't want to sit here and watch shit
hit the fan in slo-mo like in a hollywood movie, screaming and powerless.
